The spa at Wanderniki
You can spend relaxing hours in our wellness area and let your worries float away. Sweat it out in the Finnish sauna. Relax in the steam bath and infrared cabin. Regain energy in the panorama relaxation room, and enjoy a refreshing moment under the roaring waterfall. Free drinks are available at the tea bar.
Water is a very precious resource. For our everyday needs and the excellent cuisine, we draw it from our mountain spring. That said, an indoor swimming pool would not be sustainable, so we are happy to do without and enjoy the refreshing pleasures of small mountain streams during our hikes.
Relax mindfully
Wellness is an all-encompassing concept. For us at Wanderniki, this includes healthy cuisine featuring seasonal and regional products, mindful movement in nature, soaking up the surroundings with all your senses – observing colours, smells, weather, wildlife – and valuable time with friendly people making music together. The hikes twice a week to the mountain pastures with Wanderniki himself are an absolute must. All this is important to us. And we want to share it with you. Because that’s what wellness is all about.
Wellness for the soul
Lesachtal is full of mental and spiritual places of power: the basilica in Maria Luggau, the 11th-century church of St. Radegund, the “Heilkraft” healing waterfall, and the mountain spring for health and peace on the Obergailer Alm mountain pasture. The restorative effects surpass any traditional spa area. Not only can you experience wellness in our hotel, but you can also experience it outdoors throughout the valley.
Lesachtal and its healing landscape
Numerous studies have shown that spending time in nature has a positive effect on our health. That’s why the project “Heilsame Landschaft Lesachtal” (Healing Landscape Lesachtal) aims to offer balance and contribute to mental health by making use of all of our wonderful resources, such as healthy ingredients, Slow Food, the cultural landscape, and nature.
